Tonal Decorating Chalks x 9  9 x 25mm squares

From CraftTProducts, this set of pastel coloured chalks are a great addition to your craft supplies. Useful for any project, they come with two sponge applicators, are acid free and non toxic.

Chalking Ideas: Apply chalk to a die cut, you could use a teddy, wavy edged oval, heart etc. Rub chalk around the edges; select a chalk which is slightly darker than the die cut. Use white chalk on darker colours to highlight areas.

Overlap and blend colours by first applying a light colour, then applying a darker colour to shade and blend (same rule applies when using stencil paint) You can also mix chalk colours to create another colour i.e. yellow and green.

Shade straight or torn edges of a page or photo mat. Chalk around the edges of the back ground paper to add shading.

Ribbon and paper roses can be chalked as can pattern vellum, especially bubbles and wording. If you emboss vellum, it can also be chalked.
